10 MINUTES IN THE GARDEN

Fed up with the rain I stuck the camera out of the window for ten minutes to capture these at about 1/60 sec at 1600 iso equiv. Most were blurred.

3 Siskin including one male, a nice Brambling about 35 feet away, plenty of Goldfinch and Greenfinch, House Sparrows and a superb male Sparrow Hawk landed on top of a feeder.

  1. We have just settled in back at Manafon after a
great month up at Madog`s Wells. Feeders were almost empty and all fat blocks gone. All now replenished and visits from `Eric` the cock pheasant, green finch, blue tit, dunnock on the seed feeder, and a Robin. Not unpacked the Lowepro yet so enjoying all images.

  2. Very nice Brian, I'm quite jealous of the Brambling! It wasn't the best of conditions for bird photography, even in the garden.

    1. No pic of 'sprawk' Mark, Sue shouted down to me from upstairs that it was on feeder, took a quick look and grabbed camera and of course it had disappeared!
