GGS mystery

Spent 4 hours scouring Cwm Biga over to Hafren and no sighting of the GGS. Not much else around in the forest either. A pair of majestic ravens, a couple of woodpeckers and the odd buzzard and kite. No winter thrushes, siskins or crossbills. But the cockrell is still there....

  1. Amazed the chicken is still there - the raptors etc must be a bit dumb - #freemeal

  2. The GGS was also very elusive last year. In the past couple of years a load of new areas around Cwm Biga have been felled so it could be anywhere, if indeed it did hang around

  3. True but it is now the fourth year in a row that the GGS has appeared in more or less the same place. As I said though I did spend hours up and down Cwm Biga on foot. Four years ago 'it' was over on the Hafren side. I'll try again in a week or so since it's not too far for me to go.
