2 Little Grebes still fishing, lots of Crows feeding on 2 dead Canada, Sedge Warbler and Reed Warbler were seen briefly. 3 Green Sandpiper and 2 Common Sandpipers were active in the afternoon.
2 Grey Wagtails were about most of the morning.
Posting this photo as was asked to by the lady who kept me company for a hour.
3 Snipe were visible all day but kept their distance apart for a grab shot that i made the most of.
How it didn't choke on this i will never know

ReplyDeleteDo bloggers agree that that is a Chub? As far as I'm aware we have never done a fish survey (am I right, Tammy?), and apart from Pike, Perch and Roach I don't know what else is in there - the numerous fry are too difficult for me to identify, but I think I have seen minnows.
