Saturday birds

1st house martin scouting around my place this morning. I have 2 artificial conjoined 'woodcrete' boxes for them under the eaves of my house but the house sparrows have commandeered one side again this year so that may deter the martins from using the other side. 3 male pied flycatchers are around this morning vying for supremacy over 5 nest-boxes in my garden. I saw a collared dove too, OK they are as common as muck everywhere but they are infrequent visitors to my home.
