Goldcrests, and other little jobs......

After seeing, and eventually photographing these 2 very showy Goldcrests at Llyn Coed Y Dinas this afternoon, it made me realise that may not be the only tiny birds in our county at the moment. At this time of year several small birds such as Goldcrests, Firecrests, Yellow-browed Warblers and other rarer species make it across to Britain, a take up residence for days, weeks, sometimes even months. Although most of these birds stick to the coast, some do make it inland (back in 2008 2 Yellow-browed Warblers took up residence in a bird watchers garden on the Brecs/Rads boarder for a few days). So keep those eyes peeled on any tiny movements, and carefully check through those Tit flocks, as there must be one (or more) out there somewhere!!
