Waxwing Update......

News from Kevin and Brian that up to 70 birds present today at Burgess Croft - Welshpool, before heading off.

News From John Davies, and later confirmed by Mark Wilson that at least 42 birds were present again at the Newtown College car park.

News from Tony Cross, 15 flew over the road just the other side of Llanymynech (just out of the county!) around 15:45.

These birds seem to be dropping in just about anywhere, where there is food at the moment. So it's worth keeping your eyes peeled wherever you are. Some of the places where they have turned up in previous years that might be worth a look include: Llanymynech, Pool Quay, Guilsfield, Castle Caereinion, Welshpool, Garthmyl, Tregynon, Newtown and Llanidloes.
