Burgess Croft

Reed Buntings still using the feeders over the last week, Thurs saw 2m/3f on the seed table at the same time. most days seeing a male and 2 females. Redpoll showing in number over the last three days along with a pair of linnets. Greenfinches also increasing in number on the feeders,  all looking fairly healthy after the reported health problems that they have had this year. Sat. morning a male blackcap visited the feeders for a short while, some things seem quite topsy turvy this year don't they.other visitors to the garden and feeders this last week are :-Chaffinch, Brambling,Goldfinch Blackbird, Starling, Caol Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Dunnock, Collard Dove,House Sparrow, Robin,Wren,  Jackdaw And Carrion Crow.  One thing that i have also noticed is that the Redpoll seem to be roving with the Goldfinches, As both appear and leave at the same time. Has anybody else noticed this.
