Newtown Waxwings (about 10, in a different car park)

Just thought I'd mention that there were about 10 waxwings loitering in a different Newtown car park this morning - the car park with the huge ancient black poplar, between the post office and McDonalds. I saw them at about 9am, as I looked out of the car window. They were quite close to the road, feeding on the rowan berries, so I got a decent view of them out the car window whilst waiting in the traffic - Clearly there is something to be thankful for with the Newtown traffic.
