Dolydd Hafren

Quick visit to Dolydd friday afternoon (21st)  gave sighting of Bittern flying low over the seed field away from the river into the trees on the right hand side of the seed field, large number of Chaffinch's and Brambling still showing in that area.Other birds seen,  most from the second hide being;- 64 Curlew, 2 Magpie, 40 Starlings 1 Heron, 1 Buzzard, 400+ Canada Geese, 6 Greylag Geese, 8 Goosanders (3m/5f)1 Oystercatcher, 3 Green Sandpipers, 14 Wigeon, 7 Teal, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Buzzard and a Sparrowhawk .
