Redpoll in garden



At last the Redpoll have arrived in the garden, two males, together with a female Siskin.Plenty of Goldfinches, but I would like to get rid of the feral Pigeons as they are easily frightened taking the other birds with them.

    Great stuff Brian - had 5 on the feeders yesterday in the snow but nothing as yet this morning, a tad annoying! My biggest problem is the bloody squirrels, which seem able to circumvent every obstacle I put in their way (currently they are jumping from the hedge onto the only feeder they can eat from - getting on for 3 feet - so I'll continue the battle)! Also yesterday had 40+ fieldfare on the grass for half an hour or so - something different.

    Any luck with the bittern at Dolydd?
