Went to LCyD yesterday and there was alot going on 3 reed bunting on the first island 2 males 1 female, A rock pipit also on the first island, the teal were showing well on the left hand side of the hide, a pair of great crested grebes sadly they kept fairly well hidden all day and only saw them swimming across the lake. A Pochard was at the far side of the lake by the big island, 2 Oystercatcher and only 2 Lapwin and my favorite of the day was 2 pair of snipe 1 on the left hand side of the hide and the other pair just around the corner from them. Also some frog spawn in the little pond and saw my first comma butterfly of the year.
rock pipit is a very good inland record, nice.
