Ring Ouzel @ Ceri Forest

1 seen this evening on top of the ridgeway, while out walking the dogs. Other birds seen included 20+ Crossbills, 4+ Bramblings, 500+ Siskins, 20+ Redpolls, 300+ Meadow Pipits, 10+ Skylarks, 35 Golden Plovers, 2 Curlews, mixed flock of 70+ Redwing and Fieldfare and a Red Kite. It looks like migration is well under way!!

I also paid a visit to Ceri Ridge way yesterday (along with half of Montgomery's other birds watchers by the look!), the only notable birds I can add to the list are Kestrel and Sparrowhawk. Crossbills seemed to be everywhere including these 2 just (a matter of metres!!) over the boarder in Shrops.
