COED-Y-DINAS


Rather dull at Coed-y-dinas this morning but plenty of bird movements.Scores of Sand-Martins flying through, Teal,Tufted,Great-crested Grebes,etc.
A single Little-ringed Plover flew in for a very short stop on first island.
Any ideas about the goose shown above? The bill is wrong for a Pink-footed; smaller than a Canada, but its the markings round the head which are strange.On its own, it flew off west towards Newtown or Dolydd-Hafren.
Hope you recover quickly from your tumble Kevin, and thanks for finding the Plover Derek.

    Thanks Andy. I have had thoughts that Pink-footed may be in there too, the neck markings are similar.
