Dolydd Hafren
Good views of 2 hobby catching insects over the reserve this morning, also 3 peregrine present with a female chasing 1 of the 4 oystercatcher up the river. 1 curlew on the river accompanied for a short time by a black tailed godwit. Also seen by the river were 1 yellow wagtail, 1 white wagtail, 2 common sandpiper, 2 little ringed plovers and 2 shellduck. Elsewhere on the reserve there were good numbers of singing garden warbler, blackcap, willow warbler, chiffchaff, sedge & reed warblers.
