Adult Little Gull present at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas this evening from 7pm until at least 8.30pm, following day of fairly strong Easterly winds. Last time I saw LGs there, they were accompanied by Black Terns, so with the winds set to continue it is worth a thought.
The bird showed well, with a quite different jizz from the BHGs, being more tern-like, and repeatedly beating up wind taking insects. It has a suffusion of pink on the breast, difficult to capture with the camera.
Great find Chris, hope it hangs around - I've not seen one in Powys before. Come to think of it, I've not seen many at all!!
