Big day out! (03/02/12)

(via Steve Jones and Richard Knight) Hafren Forest - dipped on the shrike but had 6 Crossbill, 6 Reed Bunting, Stonechat.

Aberhafesp - (from Penstrowed church) - 12 Whooper Swan and c 150 Lapwing, 20 Fieldfare

Dolydd Hafren - 39 species including the 3 Bean Geese, Shelduck, Green sandpiper, Snipe, 60 Wigeon, 30 Teal, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Little Egret, Kestrel, Sprawk, 200 Linnet, 50 Greenfinch, 10 Bullfinch, 10 Brambling (in with the 300 finches), 30 Curlew.

Crows Nest farm - 10 yellowhammer and 4 Tree Sparrow

Edenhope - 3 short eareds - great to see one on the fence down to 10m!
