Norwegian Brambling

Just controlled a ringed male Brambling in the garden. It's the first of about 400 I have ringed over the years to carry a Stavanger, Norway ring. I will post ringing details when they come to hand, but it's made my day!
Hope to see some of you on Wednesday evening at Theatre Clera, Welshpool,  at 6.30 pm for the MWT 30th Anniversary celebration. For £10 you get to hear Iolo Williams, Prof. Chris Baines, and have mulled wine and mince pies at the interval. There is also a raffle with excellent prizes - a bottle of malt whisky, an outing with Iolo, and as 1st prize, 3 nights in a 4 star hotel close to Seahouses and the Northumberland coast.

  1. Fantastic Chris, Montgomeryshire is having a good little run of ringing recoveries at the moments. All the endless hours of hardwork paying off!! :)
