Before leaving for work, I usually top up the bird feeders, but I was quite surprised to find a lone Waxwing feasting off the apple tree. This is the first Waxwing I've seen around Montgomery this year, and with plenty of apples left on the tree, maybe it'll stick around for a while.
For the photographers: taken at 8am, using some trellacing to rest the camera on, ISO 1600, f5.6, 1/80 sec.
