Dyfi Ospreys

Both chicks were ringed on August 6th at just after five weeks old and both have now fledged. Both offspring are female.

Blue 1R weighed 1660g - fledged August 20th
Blue 2R weighed 1710g - fledged August 18th

Both sisters fledged at 51 days old, a couple of days younger than the average for female ospreys in Wales (Av= 53.5 days).

1R and 2R will stay in the Dyfi for another month or so and the Dyfi Osprey Project will remain open until all four ospreys have started their migrations. Open 10am - 6pm every day.
