Aberrant Blue Tit in Trewern....or is it!?


This exotic creature has been feeding on Niger seeds in Trewern. An aberrant Blue Tit, or does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks to Neil Morley for sending me the photo.

    The head is very dark blue Simon and it would appear that they are much rarer in Blue Tits than Great Tits. A couple of excellent photo can be seen if you go into Wildaboutbritain website.
    What a great little bird though, well done.
