Yet more Bittern

Arrived just after 2pm and the Bittern was in the same place (right hand side of the side) at the bottom of the reed bed. Around 3.30 she moved into the centre of the reeds and started hunting. From what I could see, she tilted her head to one side right above the water, her whole body almost flat, before striking and grabbing a big Perch; a wonderful thing to watch!. After feeding she headed back to the right, before emerging out of the reeds around 5.15. A good turn out again with great views. Nice to see you Phil, hope got some good shots.
