Pochard




A male and 2 female Pochard at L. Cyd this morning. Lots of testosterone-fuelled Canada Geese, and the Canada/Greylag hybrid. Female Kingfisher has been around for a few days. Influx (4 pairs) of Moorhen. Many Chiffchaffs. The usual wisp of 11 Snipe can now hide around the Willow roots as the water level continues to fall. BHGs still conspicuous by their absence.
