World's Largest Nestbox?


 The wooden teaching area, next to the dipping pond at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas has provided a perfect artificial nest site for a family of 5 Treecreepers which fledged today. Three hung on very unsteadily after emerging, but the parent tempted them to follow with a huge mouthful of invertebrates, and they were soon safely in the willows.

The fledgling Long-tailed Tit was nearby.
