Garden Visitor
I only see these very rarely around Welshpool, so one in the garden today was a pleasant surprise. Taken through glass. Note to self - "Cut the lawn soon"- or will that constitute habitat destruction?
As a beekeeper for the last 25 years, you make a good point. Others may have more of an influence. See Below:- Breaking news: An hour ago, Environment Minister Liz Truss snuck out a last-minute decision to allow the use of bee-killing pesticides on UK fields. Ministers made the final decision behind closed doors on the last day before MPs go on holiday for six weeks.
If you have clover or weed flowers in the lawn, please watch out for Bees when mowing.
