LCyD Afternoon

Three Little Egrets put on a great show in front of the hide with plenty of fishing action.  Three Kingfishers also busy on the reserve with two of the adults chasing off a juvenile.  Chiffchaff in the reeds in front of the hide.  A couple of Snipe out in the open along with a few Common Sandpiper and Grey Wagtail.  Also present were Cormorants, Teal, Mallard, Canada Geese, Coot, Moorhen, Pied Wagtail, Log Tailed Tit, and Lapwing.

  2. Thanks Brian, although Mike has rightly pointed out that it is a Chiffchaff, my mistake!
