Barn Owl tracking in Ireland

As there's not been much happening with Montgomeryshire birds recently, Chris Griffiths, Montgomeryshire's very own Barn Owl expert, thought people would be interested in reading about Barn Owls and GPS tracking in Ireland. It certainly would be interesting to know whether Montgomeryshire's Barn Owls travel the same distances each night... -

    Fascinating stuff:never realised they went so faraway from "home". Also good to see they are trying to solve what is becoming a major problem with road casualties.
