A quick visit to Severn Farm Pond was nice but relatively lacking in notable avian life apart from another Grey Heron. Lastly, whilst waiting for a train, a few active House Sparrow and Swift nests were observed to have well developed young.

LCYD 27TH July, Severn Farm Pond and Newtown Station
A late post from a few recent visits. All the regulars at LYCD with double figures of Reed Warbler, Teal and Lapwing. A Swallow and Swift also passed through amongst a Great Crested Grebe and Grey Heron. No sign of any Black Headed Gulls at all which was a surprise. Somebody seems to have lost a load of Aylesbury Ducks as well!
