Goldfinch with eye problem

This Goldfinch seen today seems to have a problem with its eye and surrounding area. It still manages to feed ok.

Male Blackcap, 7 Redpoll and a male and female Brambling in the garden. Peregrine and Red Kite flew over. Lot of Green Finch all looking healthy.

  1. Well done Brian-Polls and Siskins have forsaken us this year-usually we have 15-20!AND you still have a Brambling-net it and post it down.

  2. Had a lovely male and female together today Kev. They were feeding on the ground in a metal cage but they escaped so won't be able to post to you. I could send down a feral pigeon or two though.
