Marsh Harrier at Lake Vyrnwy

One female type Marsh Harrier passed briefly overhead at midday at Lake Vyrnwy and got into a skirmish with a male Goshawk. Both had a go at chasing each other before the Goshawk escorted the Harrier away from it's territory. Not the greatest pic (it was a long way away!) but there can't be many pictures taken that show Goshawk (left) and Marsh Harrier (right) in the same shot - thanks to Gavin Chambers

  1. Well done Gavin. It's a treat to see either species at any time, but to have them both together in one shot is brilliant. Wish I'd been there!
