Pied Flycatchers

Pied Flycatchers are busy building nests at Lake Vyrnwy. Mark Wilson's pictures of the male's ring confirmed the bird fledged in 2015 about 1km from where this picture was taken. He may be a local bird, but having wintered in Africa a couple of times, he's already travelled over 50,000km in his lifetime.
