Powys castle Hawfinches.
This morning 21/11/17 the weather was typically autumnal Welsh, and the Hawfinches were being typical Hawfinches ie staying high in the tree tops and a long way off. I reckon there was a minimum of 8 flying between the tree tops around the castle car park between 8:30 and 10:30. They spent quite a lot of time feeding in the Hawthorns up around the castle gardens.
