Siberian Chiffchaff?

Siberian?? Penarth

  1. Cracking sharp shots. Certainly many features look good for Siberian, and in the same site as last year. I hope the experts will have a view, but is there perhaps a trace of yellow on the chest?

  2. From these pics the bird appears to be a standard Chiffchaff (p.collybita). The base colour of the plumage is green/brown rather than grey and there is pronounced yellow feathering on the breast. Legs and mandible are brown rather than black. David if you've any other photos that make a stronger case or you heard the call then please email me. Thanks
