Brambling,Red Bank, Welshpool
At least 6 Brambling in the garden, two having very discreet silver rings, this weekend. A few Siskin and very occasional Redpoll.
Mistle thrush present top Red Bank and a female Sparrowhawk.
Bramblings probably ringed by me, as total is 37 since New Years Day. One interesting control of a bird I ringed on 31.12.2013,retuned to same feeding site/trap in my garden. The bird has survived 4 breeding seasons, and potentially 9 North Sea crossings. My black sunflower must be good!
