Snow brings another unexpected garden visitor

Would have loved a jack snipe to appear , but a red kite was an unexpected visitor today, perching in a tree on the edge of the garden for about 30 minutes until disturbed by some walkers. Have put out a  squirrel carcass in the hopes it might be tempted - guess it must be pretty hungry.
