Visible Migration - Welshpool

As on several bright clear mornings in the last week, and indeed for several years in the last weeks of October and early November, there were impressive numbers of high-level Woodpigeons heading westwards. Flock sizes varied between tens and several hundreds and must total at least 3-4 thousand this morning alone.
It would be interesting to see how far west of Welshpool they can be seen. My unproven theory is that they are heading for Ireland.
