Summer and Winter at LCyD

Summer represented by (I think) 3 calling Chiffchaff and a Blackcap making its normal din from deep in the undergrowth and not having the common courtesy to show itself - the game commences

Winter represented by the long-staying female Goldeneye - yes still on the lake on 1 April, have we ever had a later record than this?

Single GC Grebe still hoping for a mate, looking resplendent but slightly forlorn

  1. Very nice Mark, pleased the Chiffchaff showed for you. There was an odd goose last Friday, probably Canada/Pink -footed hybrid as it had very pink feet etc.
