New arrivals!

We have two reports of the county's first Pied Flycatchers: in each case a single male already defending a nest-box - one from Paul Roughley in Dolforwyn and the other from Mike Haigh in Llanfyllin. (Photo: Paul Roughley). Also, a Willow Warbler is singing on Middletown Hill today. Most of you are probably aware of the new arrival at Cors Dyfi - an unringed male Osprey who is repeatedly mating with the established female Telyn. Will Monty return and claim his nest back?  See Emyr's post: https://www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproject/?__tn__=%2Cd%2CP-R&eid=ARD1KyXt3b7McRIch1vs4-cBEVKQVZ5Ue2oKVnt17IPpun3lZmEqbC9BO_-g2iSerVRazFcFBDCKVwRQ
