And 1 in my garden! Flock of about 100 Sand Martins - no House Ms or Swallows, passed through Llyn Coed-y-Dinas at 10.15.
ReplyDeleteStill have a single Blackcap in the garden. Even though it was so hot yesterday the 4-5 Brambling are still daily visitors.
ReplyDeleteCounty recorders are always interested in LAST dates of migrants as well as FIRST dates! Brian, do let me know in due course your last Brambling date.
ReplyDeleteAnd ANYONE, feel free to let me have your last Redwing and Fieldfare dates. Thanks!
Still waiting to see if any crop up. I've had them in April before. I heard my first Blackcap two days ago, in Ty Brith Wood (30th).
ReplyDeleteA fair number of Blackcaps have overwintered in the county, so it's a species I can't really allocate a first date to!
