On the day when the Dyfi Osprey Project has reported the sad loss of the latest chick to hatch, an adult has appeared in the Pwll Penarth and Aberbechan area. It's likely to be two-year-old without a territory. It was photographed by a local resident through a window, perched in her garden, and chased off twice by the neighbouring Buzzards. It appears to be unringed, but the photo isn't clear enough to put up here. Thanks to David Lister for passing on the news.
