Whilst strictly across the border, I had a suprisingly productive walk around the Camlad river and fields surrounding Chirbury.
Marsh Tits in with the regular tits and Goldcrests at The Marrington Dingle, Woodcock in Spring Coppice and Kingfisher at Hockleton Bridge.
The most suprising bird was a Green Sandpiper at a small pool created by the farmer just outside Chirbury to the NE. Can't be many of these in the county at the moment? Also 12 Wigeon. Between here and Chirbury there were a suprising amount of Tree Sparrow, maybe 40 or so. Also small flocks of Yellowhammer around the town.
Siskin, Red Kite and Buzzard around throughout.
