Brambling

Brambling are beginning to frequent the garden more often now with both male and female visiting. About 22 plus Goldfinch, 4/5 Greenfinch, female Sparrowhawk, female Bullfinch. No sign of Redpoll or Siskin so far. Im sure Mark won't mind me putting on my little video of the Jack Snipe from September. Having terrible trouble with the blog, can't put on comments and managed to loose all your comments!!

    Great to see the little bouncing ball again Brian. There was an amazing item on last night's Winterwatch about finding Jack Snipe at night with thermal imaging devices.

    22 Brambling??? Nice one Brian! Yes saw that Simon ... had been looking at the thermal imaging cameras, not sure I can justify the cost but it would make a hell of a difference to working out what's around and seeing one of the cheaper models in use last night was interesting
