White Stork near Newtown?

Thanks to Alison Garnett for this interesting sighting: "I saw a stork in a field on Saturday. It was just north of Newtown on the A483, on the west side of the road." I have checked she didn't see a heron or an egret since she says she's not a birder, but she confirms she is familiar with them, and familiar with the Knepp storks from Springwatch. One of the White Storks released at Knepp in Sussex wandered to Llanidloes on 6 March 2021, and perched on a chimney. The White Stork Project told me at the time, "GB35 is a male who came to our project from Poland.  He was brought to the UK in early 2018 after sustaining an injury in the wild and rehabilitated at Warsaw Zoo before coming to our satellite site in East Sussex." Perhaps he is back with us again? I have written to the White Stork Project to ask, since their released storks are satellite-tagged. Meanwhile, did anyone else see it? Keep a look out!
