Family portrait

 

Thanks to Meurig Garbutt for providing this image of the Egyptian Goose family at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas. They may be an introduced species, but these individuals appear to be the first ever to nest in Wales! 

I was pleased to watch a Hobby yesterday evening flying along the railway line at Middletown.
