Early Brambling

 

Many thanks to Lindsay and Frank Mullins for sending in this portrait of a male Brambling. It came back early (24 Sep) from Scandinavia to their garden feeder at Bwlchyddar near Llanfyllin. Lindsay writes that it (or another) remained there this spring until 2 May.
