Lottie Glover reports a flock of 400 Lapwings at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas on 28 January - in fact in the next field, and "sort of murmurating. There were several flocks that kept occasionally merging."
Maybe there was a Peregrine about, or perhaps the planes and helicopters heading to and from the airport disturbed them. Thanks Lottie.
