Sand Martin and other recent reports

15 Mar   5 Sand Martin, Dolydd Hafren

15 Mar  12 Brambling, Dolydd Hafren - since last week's snow, there has been a flurry of Brambling records from various parts of the county.

15 Mar  c.50 Golden Plover, Heldre Hill, Long Mountain, near Welshpool

15 Mar  4 Yellowhammer, Bwlchyddar: 2 males and 2 females, in garden

11 Mar  62 Curlew, Dolydd Hafren: top count of the year here

5 Mar  1 Blackcap, Llanymynech, male singing in same spot by canal since 12 Feb.
