It is Simon. Several years ago there was an 'eruption' of brambling up to 500 feeding on the beech mast.
ReplyDeleteThe lower wood often has quite a few dog walkers and coupled with the road noise can be a bit off putting. In recent years we've found the higher parts more peaceful and productive (just below the golf course).
