Latest from the Whats App Group

Green Woodpecker at Dolanog, 23 Jul, by Colin Griffin

Yellowhammer near Llangadfan, 20 Jul, by Aneurin Lloyd

Thanks to Colin and Aneurin for these photos. Aneurin also reports a male Hen Harrier at Y Glonc, north of Llyn Mawr near Clatter, on 24 Jul.

Colin and Carole Jones watched a Great Crested Grebe feeding 3 young at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas on 20 Jul.

It's worth looking out for migrating terns if anyone is near Llyn Coed-y-Dinas, Lake Vyrnwy or Dolydd Hafren, as Arctic Terns are moving through Shropshire at the moment. One (of two) was photographed at Venus Pool near Shrewsbury today.
