Gregynog 4th April

Things seem to be livening up and getting busy. 6+ stock dove calling, 7 treecreeper, 3 mallard, 2 red kite flying over, 2 buzzard, 2 moorhen, 2 coot, 1 woodcock flushed from bracken under holly, 2 woodpigeon, 4 great spotted woodpecker, 6 wren, something like 30+ blackbird and 85+ redwing moving through the parkland and open woods, 2 song thrush, 1 goldcrest, 5 coal tit, 10+ blue tit, 4+ great tit, 7 noisy nuthatch, 4 jay, 1 magpie, 9 carrion crow, 3 chaffinch, 4 lesser redpoll on alders by stream, and I briefly thought I might've heard my first redstart of the year amongst all these others but not sure..
