Bittern still showing Llyn Coed-y-dinas



The Bittern is still showing to a full house. Goldcrest and Reed Bunting present.

Heard my first Great Spotted W P drumming near Windmill Lane, Welshpool two days ago.

    Thanks Kev. I went down to check if it's still there, well you've got to take a photo or two. I am sure the floor of the hide was sloping towards the end where the Bittern was showing. If you do make a visit or know of anyone going, the bird seems to move out round about 5pm. Forget a tripod, take a beanbag, and a 300-500mm lens or equivalent on a cropped camera sensor is ideal.
